Apropos to remove discrimination in pay and perks of government employees, including Judges, pensioners drawing more than 2lacs per month, and other such categories is not only just and equitable, but also the eagerly awaited one-time decision.
If we look at a nation like a parent we realize that its citizens are brothers and sisters. Judges of courts do not like discrimination and give judgments in favor of equality or closer to it.
A BS-17 employee drawing about Rs 40,000/- a month is unable to find justification to a formidable and, at times unspeakable difference in pay and perks in other offices of the government of employees working on corresponding positions.
Let it be rectified. The sooner the better.
